Critical Talk Episode 6

Guess what time it is! If you guessed Critical Talk with Stephen, Luke, and Anthony, you’re dead right.

  • Laugh until you can laugh no more as Luke explains why James Pond is such a funny, funny name!
  • Maybe laugh slightly less as Stephen insults an entire language!
  • Chuckle uncomfortably as you try to figure out what, precisely, Anthony means by “puddle of chunky horror”!

What a rollercoaster of smiles you’re in for with Critical Talk Episode 6. Click here to download and/or play it before they’re sold out (which is literally impossible)!

Steven created the music, but not Stephen the host. Two different people.

A lover of video games in general, Stephen will happily play just about any sort of game on just about any sort of system, especially if it's a platformer or an RPG. Except sports games. Sports games are boring.

Nothing beats listening to a Critical Gamer podcast whilst eating popcorn. Unfortunately though, I didn’t have any so I had to settle for cookies!

I’d quite like an HD remake of Crash Bandicoot too. It wouldn’t be at the top of my list, but I certainly wouldn’t say no if Naughty Dog offered. A remake of the first Spyro would be greatly appreciated too.

I’ve been wanting to get Shogun 2. I think I’ll need a shiny new PC before I attempt to play that, as I lost confidence if this computer’s ability to play any game made in the last five years.

I hope that one day you will be able to complete those Discworld games Luke. I’d recommend placing your PS3 in a circle of candles and going from there. Then, once you’ve finished them both games will be picked up for remakes — that’s what usually happens to me.

Look forward to the next podcast guys. CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!! CHRISTMAS SPECIAL!! :-)

Why, thank you for dropping by, Madhatters! I’m glad you settled on cookies rather than these suspicious “biscuits” I’ve been hearing about.

I’m not sure if it would quite count as a Christmas special, but the podcast going up in the next few days will definitely be Christmas themed! It involves weird Saturn controllers and walruses.
