The FIFA 17 demo is now available to download on PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. It contains a demo of new game mode The Journey, which is the game’s new story mode, which sees the player donning the boots of Alex Hunter, a young player who has just signed for a Premier League side, and is thrust into the world of the glitz that is being a Premiership player. It gives you dialogue choices using a wheel similar to the one used in the Mass Effect franchise. The demo is limited to playing as a Manchester United player, but the main game will give you a choice of clubs.
The demo also has a Kick Off mode as per usual, and features four single player Skill Games, and three new multiplayer Skill Games, which you can play while the match loads. The demo also contains 12 teams: Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter, Paris St Germain, Olympique Lyonnais, Seattle Sounders, Bayern Munich, Tigres U.A.N.L. (MX) and Gamba Osaka, along with three stadiums: Stamford Bridge, Century Link and Suita City Football Stadium. With the game featuring the Frostbite game engine for the first time, players look more realistic than ever, and the game promises to be a smoother, and more fluid experience than previous entries in the series.
