Love Thy Neighbor

If you’ve heard the name Hello Neighbor before then it’s because it was at one point a backable Kickstarter project. Unfortunately it didn’t reach it’s goal, which was disappointing as one of us at Critical Gamer was a backer. Luckily for all involved, it’s back with a vengeance. Dynamic Pixels have teamed up with publisher Tiny Build and we can now expect to see this AI driven game release in Summer 2017 – whenever that is.

AI is a very interesting subject in games and it’s even more so when the AI is the subject of the game. The AI in question is your Neighbor, the mustachioed man who has something to hide. You are tasked with entering his house by any means and finding said secret. There will be many obstacles in your way and the Neighbor is supposed to learn and counter you as you try to make your way through his house. At the very least it still looks extremely interesting but if they can pull off even a half decent AI, it should be a lot of fun.

I enjoy playing games and I enjoy writing things, so I decided to combine the two. I do bits here and there and have a twitter that mainly just announces things I've done as my life revolves around very little that is truly interesting.
