Beyond: Two Souls is the next game to come from Quantic Dream, the studio behind cinematic hits Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit. This extended trailer shows the first scene from the game, with the explosive montage from the E3 trailer tacked on the end.
It looks very reminiscent of Quantic Dreams previous drama-centric games, but what we have seen so far suggests that it will be a lot more action orientated. The story follows the life of a young girl named Jodie Holmes, voiced by Inception and Juno actress Ellen Page.
“Beyond will be unlike anything you have experienced before. It will be emotional, mature and unique, but also epic, breath-taking and spectacular” boasts David Cage, founder and president of Quantic Dream. “We want to create unique moments that players will remember for a long time.
“We invite you to a unique journey in the life of Jodie Holmes and if you make the right decisions, maybe you will discover what lies beyond.”
No release date has been mentioned yet, but we don’t think we’ll be seeing this PlayStation exclusive title any time soon. We can’t wait to see and hear more about the inevitable twists and turns Beyond: Two Souls will likely have in store for us.
