Critical Talk Episode 13: Scum and Villainy

Surprise, Critical Talk still exists, unlike dinosaurs as far as we know! Fearless leader Luke Kemp returns with a wit sharper than the majority of your kitchen cutlery, as does ex-writer Stephen Kelly and his brother ex-writer Bryan. Lastly there is Seán Prideaux himself, a man who has never appeared on Critical Talk and dislikes Shadow of the Colossus. These four shining souls of justice wage a war of words in a field of villains, taking advantage of the new podcast format to pick apart what makes evil so enthralling (or otherwise) in videogames. The quest is dark and dangerous, but here are some spiffy bullet points to get you psyched all the same:

  • Drop your jaw in disbelief as Luke reveals the biggest Far Cry 3 fake spoiler of all time!
  • Become confused as you attempt to figure out who is Stephen and who is Bryan!
  • Feel bad for Seán who gets kicked off the Skype call because of faulty opinions!

This discussion may revolve around bad guys, but the episode sure isn’t… um… bad. Look, let’s just forget the clever transitions and skip to the bit with the audio player!

The opening and ending music is sonik metro by analoq, thanks to OC ReMix. Stephen did the editing as he tends to do.
