Modern Warfare 2 launch trailer and unofficial release
Cock your rifle, load up your humvee and don your space suit (!?) because Modern Warfare 2 is blowing out the windows and rappelling down in to a shop near you, possibly before the official release date as many retailers can’t seem to keep it off their shelves.
This explosive launch trailer is the most action packed yet with things blowing up everywhere, in the snow, in tunnels, in cities and lord knows where else. It definitely looks like you’re going to have to get used to fire and bangs quite quickly to get anywhere in this game.
As mentioned earlier, the official release date is tomorrow, but this hasn’t stopped retailers burning Activision’s official decision and selling it now anyway at some damn reasonable prices as well.
It has been reported that Sainsbury’s is leading the charge in to bargain land, selling the game for as low as £26, where as HMV will let you slink out with a copy for £9.99 when you part exchange Forza 3, Tekken 6 or Uncharted 2.
The game is looking good from everything we’ve seen but don’t expect any official reviews going up anywhere until tomorrow, due to an embargo being in place.
