Dragon Age Awakening announced



Today sees the release of the Dragon Age DLC entitled Return to Ostagar, but there’s more DLC on the way, confirmed by todays announcement from EA. Spoilers follow.

Awakening will pick up where the Dragon Age story left off, with the destruction of the Archdemon and the supposed end of the Blight. It sees our character travelling to the land of Amaranthine and rebuilding the Grey Wardens in the face of a new Darkspawn threat. The expansion promises to offer us five new companions as we uncover the mysteries behind the appearance of the new intelligent Darkspawn that we’ll be battling. Alongside the Darkspawn a mysterious new antagonist known as the Architect will need to be dealt with.

The expansion will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on March 16 2010 and will cost $39.99 – no word yet on European pricing.
