If you go to Ebay and do a search looking for Starcraft 2′s Beta Keys, turns out that you will actually find them. But these keys don’t come cheap, these virtual scalpers are turning a large profit on these things.
Averaging about $300 a key people have decided that giving up their chance to play the Starcraft 2 Beta is worth it, and along with that people are deciding that to get the chance to play is also worth paying the hefty price. Or in some cases more; many of the “buy now” prices are upwards of $400-$500. Along with one guy selling not only his beta key but including his Battle.net account which also feature 2 level 80 World of Warcraft characters for the price of about $950.
Now you have a few questions to ask yourself, Is this moral? Is it worth it? The choice is up to you.
well its isnt right that game companys are given these out to people who 1.dont deserve it and 2.selling them
but developers insist in doing it this way and look what happens, regards ukimpact (free beta tester}
people would beta test this game and post in forums given valid and accurate information on how the game is and any points of making it better like i did in the bfbc2 beta (not demo) and saw many updates and hit the demo as well as mag and more . maybe they should of picked these people better and made them use there ip address only for the game and if found out using another ip address other than there battle.net accounts main ip should be banned from playing the game , also not to give out scratch cards with keys on them , recently a MOD from a FFIIVX forum was selling beta keys and got found out.
Or even better dont give any keys out and just give them to a decent free company that test games for free like mine
