Modern Warfare 2 Stimulus Package Hits PS3 Today

PhotobucketModern Warfare 2′s first DLC map pack finally drops on PS3 today, offering three fresh maps and two returning favorites from the original Modern Warfare. The Stimulus Package, priced at $15, original launched as an Xbox 360 exclusive on March 30th, 2010, but as of this week is now available on PS3 and PC as well. The pack has gotten criticism for it’s price point – the highest ever for a multiplayer map pack – but still went on to sell millions, break records, and review positively.

The Stimulus Package includes five maps all together, with Overgrown and Crash making a return, relatively unchanged. The three new maps include Bailout, set in a suburban apartment complex; Storm, an industrial park set in a thunderstorm; and Salvage, a snow-covered junkyard.

If you’re one of those waiting for a shot at this new content, this is probably the best bit of Modern Warfare news you’ve heard in a while. So check it out, and come back here and tell us what you think in the comments below.
