World’s first L.A. Noire trailer

The first L.A. Noire trailer has finally shown its face and gives us plenty of good cop, bad cop detective work in Rockstar’s latest and relatively unknown project.

The game, set in a 1940s re-created Los Angeles, gives players the challenge of solving murders, old school style. It certainly looks to take a slightly less glamorous approach than CSI Miami.

Expect the game on Xbox 360 and PS3 in Spring 2011.

I remember when you first told me about this game KrazyFace, Must’ve been almost 2 years ago now.

It’s certainly going to be one of my must buy-games of 2011.

Wellll, don’t hold me to that man! It might just turn out to be a massive pile of dog’s business! OR it could be one of the most atmospheric, gritty, pretty games that R* have made since GTA on PS2, I guess time will tell. Either way, this is on my must-have list allong with The Last Guardian.

Y’know, I’ve just remembered about a game I read about when I first heard of LA Noire; it was about a woman stuck on a sinking ship. The water effects looked AMAZING, and it was more like a puzzle game where you had to navigate her out of a flooding room before she drowned. For the life of me I can’t remember what it was called, but it looked really good. Maybe it got canned!!!

Lets hope it will be the latter of those two possibilities.

That game you’ve described sounds very much like Hydrophobia. It revolves around a woman fighting to get off a massive sinking ship. If it is, it was released on the Xbox Marketplace about 6 weeks ago to a very mixed reception.

Looks like you’re right Hatters, that is indeed the game I’ve been waiting on, although it looks a lot more fighty than the last time I read about it! Never mind, I can’t have it anyway as it’s a 360 exclusive, DAMN YOOOOO MICROFARCE WITH YOUR GIGANTIC, BOTTOMLESS WALLET POWERS!!!!
