Have you ever had a really bad holiday? You know, the kind where you drink too much on an island, blackout in a bar and then wake up at gun point. We’re hoping this is a generally rare occurrence, but it’s exactly what the protagonist of Far Cry 3 experiences in a new trailer for the game.
It’s all pre-rendered footage, so none of it shows off gameplay, but what we do get is a glimpse at the story and the events that presumably provide the context for the player taking up arms and gunning down those around him.
We also get a September 7 release date thrown at us towards the end of the trailer, so it looks as though Far Cry 3 is lining up in the pre-Christmas games release gauntlet.
