Ni No Kuni PlayStation 3 trailer

Professor Layton developer, Level 5 and popular Japanese animator, Studio Ghibli have released a trailer for the recently announced PS3 version of their RPG Ni No Kuni, and it looks fantastic.

The game looks very reminiscent of what we’d imagine a HD Pokemon would be like, with little critters of varying cuddliness ratings beating the loveliness out of each other.

At the very least, this game looks like a brilliant visual experience, but can the gameplay hold up to its utterly charming presentation? We’ve got a fair wait to find out for sure as the game is set for release on PS3 in 2011.
