Hoping to rescue his rather tarnished reputation with gamers, a certain pointy blue rodent has cropped up in a teaser video released by Sega, showing a return to the formula that made him so popular, in Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.
DJ Hero: review
A great DJ can effortlessly mix track after track into a fluid set list, and most importantly, can mesmerise and hold the attention of the crowd despite doing little more than standing behind a set of decks. Individuals like Grandmaster Flash and Jazzy Jeff have mastered this craft and know exactly how to get the most out of the turntable. DJ Hero does not quite reach such rarefied heights, but it does make a highly entertaining attempt.

Diner Dash has been around for 6 years, and has graced several platforms. Now it’s success is being ported over to Xbox 360, Wii and PSN as a downloadable game. Will it keep it’s Michelin Star or will it be star of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares?

The Wii and DS have completely flattened the competition, making Nintendo seem unassailable. Executives within the company may well be shifting in their swan feather – stuffed swivelling chairs uneasily now however, as they have recently had to admit a fall in profits of almost 10%.

Military Madness is back. If that sentence excites you, then there is a fun but limited title awaiting you on PSN, Live and WiiWare. For those left scratching their heads at the mention of Military Madness, you are better off looking elsewhere for your strategy fix.

Console Christmas
I hate this time of year. I’m the kind of guy who thinks fairy lights are a waste of electricity and that anyone wanting to play Santa in a shopping centre is a danger to children. If there is one small, tiny, minuscule benefit to Christmas it is that it’s a perfect time to get into gaming.
