2K release Borderlands – Game of the Year edition

2K Games and Gearbox Software have announced the release of Borderlands Game Of The Year Edition on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC. This special edition contains the original best-selling stand alone game, the entire downloadable content that was released after it’s initial release, a fold-out map and an exclusive membership certificate, that gives players a chance to play a demo of the legendary (and long, long awaited) Duke Nukem Forever before it is publicly released.

Borderlands has unique cel-shaded artwork

Borderlands Game of the Year edition is a pack of the co-operative cel-shaded Role-Playing Shooter, and contains all four of the extra downloadable adventures including The Zombie Island of Dr Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, and the latest add-on, Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution. The addition of the Duke Nukem Forever First Access Club membership certificate is an added bonus to an already good value collection.

Borderlands Game Of The Year Edition is out now for £29.99 on all three home formats.

I've been addicted to gaming since my parents bought an Atari console way back in the 70's. I progressed to the iconic Speccy, Amiga, and all the Playstation platforms. Having seen games evolve from single pixel bat and ball, to HD constructed environments, gaming has changed much from my early years. Having defeated the rock hard R-Type on the Speccy, the biggest challenge I've faced so far is putting up with the hordes of American teens spouting abuse in the current generation of consoles, noob indeed!
