Bayonetta 2 is on its way to Wii U as we all well know, but the E3 edition of Nintendo Direct showed us just that little bit more. Considering there are some people that either already have bought or are to going to buy the Wii U specifically because this game is an exclusive there we’d say it’s a pretty big deal that they’re showing it off.
It won’t release until 2014, much to the lament of pretty much everyone, so for now, you’ll have to make do with the trailer, artwork and the E3 Nintendo Direct footage (starting at 28:48 and is slightly different to the trailer). According to Joystiq, Bayonetta 2 does have a two player mode, so between that and the fact that she has a new hairstyle (not unlike a once white-haired protagonist), “hardcore” fans will have something to rile themselves up over.
