The Lego Movie Videogame builds hype

The LEGO Movie Videogame has just been announced and is it a surprise? Not especially. Games tied to Lego have been coming out pretty steadily over the last few years, and they usually represent a fairly decent quality if you appreciate the source material. Now the source material will be… itself?

TT Games will be taking the helm again with this one, and hopefully they can pull the same kind of humour off that they do so well. It’s set to host 90 characters and 15 film inspired levels; which leaves us thinking it won’t have a world to explore, like some more recent games, and might be more akin to the Star Wars games that impressed us all those years ago.

It’s set to release in conjunction with the film next year on: Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, Wii U, PC, 3DS and Vita. Until then you can look forward to the Lego Marvel Super Heroes game which does release this year (also surprisingly published by WB Games).

I enjoy playing games and I enjoy writing things, so I decided to combine the two. I do bits here and there and have a twitter that mainly just announces things I've done as my life revolves around very little that is truly interesting.
