League of Legends – affectionately known by its fans as LoL – is now available for you to play dear reader, completely free of charge. There are options for both a Collector’s Pack and Champions Bundle, that give you extra champions unlocked from the beginning (though they can still be unlocked by free players) in exchange for some precious monies.

In case you’re not aware of League of Legends it is essentially a sequel to the uber-popular Warcraft III mod Dawn of the Ages (DotA), in which you take control of a champion and engage in some fast paced, competitive strategic role-playing.

At the price of free it comes highly recommended, head to http://www.leagueoflegends.com/ to sign up.
