The latest trailer for Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption has arrived and gives us a bit more insight into the character whose shoes we’ll be stepping into – John Marston. Marston is an ex-outlaw, hell bent on tracking down his former gang partner Bill Williams, on a titular search for redemption.
From what we can see here it appears as though Rockstar have left behind the tongue in cheek humour we’ve come to expect from them in favour of a far more gritty atmosphere. It’s certainly going to be interesting to see how Rockstar make the transition from creating sandbox cities to giving us a representation of the Wild West to tool around in.
Red Dead Redemption is due for release on April 27th 2010 on both Xbox 360 and PS3.
