DC Universe Online Battle for Earth DLC launches

Free-to-play MMORPG DC Universe Online is getting some new DLC today, as the Battle for Earth expansion has launched accompanied by a trailer showing off some of the new stuff.

The DLC pack contains new powers, a new alert, new duos and a massive raid against Brainiac’s final Avatar, the Avatar of Magic. It’s now available on PC and PS3.

Here’s how the top line of the PR blurb sums it up: “The Battle for Earth offers players a new storyline with more action, epic battles, a ninth power set, and opens up a new chapter featuring a pair of the most legendary DC Universe figures ever – from the future.”
