If the Far Cry 3 trailer shown during Ubisoft’s E3 conference got your shooting juices going, you’ll love the debut video for the four player co-op campaign mode. It introduces you to the four playable characters and shows them shooting things in almost every shot.
Players can choose to be crooked cop Leonard, Russian hitman Mikhail, ex-soldier Tisha or Scottish thug Callum, all of whom seem fairly proficient at spraying bullets at things they don’t like. This intro trailer appears to be set on a boat, but as it’s entirely pre-rendered there’s no indication if the boat will be a playable level. However, at the end they hijack a dinghy and take that to the big island full of angry targets. It’s a safe bet that this is where the majority of it takes place.
The four player campaign will be playable with chums online, but also has two player split screen support for those of us with physical friends and the extra sofa capacity.
Far Cry 3 is due out on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on September 7. You can check out the main trailer shown at Ubisoft’s E3 conference below. It’s probably the only trailer at E3 to feature boobs and a tiger.
