Need a refresher on the slightly dizzying plot of the present day side to the Assassin’s Creed series? Ubisoft thought it couldn’t hurt to deliver one to us in the run up to the release of Assassin’s Creed III on October 31.
We get a reminder of who Desmond Miles is and what has happened to him over the games in the series where he has lived out the lives of his ancestors, Altair ibn-La’Ahad and Ezio Auditore de Firenze. We also get reminded of who the Templar are and how not very nice they tend to be.
It’s all building towards the reveal of what lies in store for Desmond in the fifth home console game of the series. We’re certainly intrigued about the future of this sort-of time traveller who keeps having historical Tron-like experiences.
There’s not long to wait now for PS3 and Xbox 360 owners who can get their hands on the game at the end of the month. PC players have a slightly longer wait until November 23, and the WiiU version will release alongside the new console.
