The first Fable promised much and, notoriously, failed to deliver on most of it – but was still a very good game. Fable II promised much, and delivered most of it – and was a very good game. Fable III promises much – will it follow the pattern and deliver all? Possibly – especially as Molyneux now alleges that he won’t overhype his games...
